Left to right: Joe Caddy, Andy Fleet, John Gibbons, Stelios Kalisperides,
Zane Maertens
Joe 'JC' Caddy, Drums
JC is a London-based drummer and producer
who works with a host of major recording artists,
including Leann Rimes, The Honeyz, Lazenby, Anthony
Moriah, Gloria Gaynor and Adeva. He also provides the
funky beats behind several TV commercials and idents.
His musical influences are too many too mention, but
main ones include The Meters, The Who, Me'shell
Ndegeocello, Stevie Wonder, The Roots and Cameo.
Andy Fleet, Keys
Andy is a classically-trained pianist who made the
switch to pop/rock/jazz piano in his mid teens. He
played the piano cocktail bar circuit for two years
before selling out and pursuing a ‘suited and booted’
career in the City. Thankfully, he didn't take to the
City life too kindly, and took up piano playing again.
Shortly after his return to music, he was invited to
join Chris’s band. Andy is also a
songwriter in his own right.
John Gibbons, Backing Vocals
John is an experienced backing vocalist who has worked
with many well-known artists, including Razorlight, The
Killers and Luther Vandross; he's also done session work
for high-profile TV shows including - dare we mention
it! - The X Factor. But he's still cool - in fact,
he was recently voted coolest member of the band, by the
band members themselves. Praise doesn't come much
higher than that, unless it's from your mother!
Stelios Kalisperides, Lead Guitar
Stelios Kalisperides comes from Cyprus. He attended the Guitar Institute of
Technology (GIT) in Los Angeles, focusing on jazz and
funk. He then moved back to England to continue his
music education at the London College of Music,
specialising in jazz - he graduated with First Class
Honours in Music Performance. He is a session guitarist
to some high-profile acts, including Steve Brookstein
and LeAnn Rimes.
Zane Maertens, Bass
Brought up in Spain, Zane moved to England in 1991,
where he studied guitar at the Guildhall, London. He
moved on to bass-playing, and has played on recordings
for several high-profile acts and composers including
Henri Macini, Elmer Bernstein and John Williams. Zane
teaches guitar and bass, and works with a number of
London-based artists and producers. He has also worked
as a musical director for bands on cruise ships, and has
two daughters, whose names both begin with Z.
